About Summit Organic Landcare
Since 2004, Summit Organic Landcare has helped South Shore families transition from chemical-dependent lawns to naturally healthy, thriving landscapes. We use only 100% organic, pet-safe and kid-safe products — so the spaces where your family plays are spaces you can trust.
Our Mission
Build healthier soil, healthier yards, and a healthier South Shore — one lawn at a time.
Our Promise
No toxic runoff. No warning labels. 1% of every sale donated to environmental organizations.
Going organic is a process, not a quick fix. The longer we work with your lawn, the better it gets — thicker turf, deeper roots, and a landscape that actually thrives without chemicals.

Meet Dave Macdonald
Dave Macdonald founded Summit Landscape in 2004 with a desire to work in the outdoors and stay true to his mindset about the environment. Soon after, he took the five-day Northeast Organic Farming Association (NOFA) course to become a certified organic land care professional.
Since 2006, Dave has been a member of 1% for the Planet, an organization that has inspired members of the business community to contribute 1% of sales to environmental groups around the world. Summit Landscape has made donations to NOFA, Holly Hill Farm in Cohasset, and Farm Aid, amongst others.
He is also a member of the Ecological Landscaping Association and graduated from Maine Compost School in 2007.
